What Do The Abbreviations Mean??

If you are new to couponing you may not understand all the abbreviations in my posts.  The following list of "Coupon Lingo" will help.


B1G1 – Buy 1, Get 1 Free
$1/1 - $1 off 1 item
$1/2 - $1 off 2 items
Blinkies - Coupons found in the store, usually from a blinking red box
Peelie - Coupon that you peel off the package
Tear Pad - Coupons found in the store from a pad
IP - Internet Printable - a coupon you print from the internet
MFR - Manufacturer
MQ - Manufacturer Coupon
MIR - Mail in Rebate
OOP - Out Of Pocket - Money that you pay up front
PG - Proctor & Gamble Sunday Insert Coupons
RP - Red Plum Sunday Insert Coupons
SS - Smartsource Sunday Insert Coupons
WYB - When You Buy
ECB - Extra Care Buck - CVS
IVC - Instant Value Coupon - Walgreens store coupon - found in the ads and the monthly coupon booklets
RR - Register Rewards - Walgreens
